Authenticinfluence
Why this title?
Well, authenticity is a word I often think about. Nobody likes a fake or a counterfeit and in life people want something that is real. In relationships people want trust, honesty and transparency. OK people are not perfect but sorry is always an option. And in church people are not looking for a perfect church – everyone knows it does not exist but we all want trust and honesty – authenticity.
And Influence – well some define leadership as influence. What makes a good leader – its not about titles or manipulation. People who have never been appointed to a position of leadership or authority have been leaders to thousands – the influence of their lives: – writings, speech and presence – have impacted others.
Well there a first attempt. First rule: Be authentic – don’t make it up. Secondly, live your life to influence others – to be better than the person they are now.
